“Unbelievably clever book. Will be enjoyed by children and adults alike. The author has created an amazing fantasy world and in so doing explores many themes relevant to young people. A very clever book indeed.”
Fantastic fantasy read filled with adventure, imagination and excitement. The story creates an amazing fantasy world that draws you in and makes you want to discover what happens next.
We really enjoyed the sense of adventure throughout the book. The characters are amazing and the magical elements make the story even more exciting. There are plenty of twists and memorable moments that keep the reader engaged from beginning to end. Thoroughly recommended. Cant wait for the next book.
“Unique imaginative story, left me looking forward to the next installment.”
I like a good story, with characters that come alive and dance across the pages, and a bit, or a lot of humour, some love, and friendships, along with some tension. Basically, I like a book that keeps me reading when I should be sleeping. This book delivers. The good characters are engaging and the bad are suitably gross.
I think I would enjoy it on audio. I’ll look forward to the next installment. A great book for the older, but forever young at heart, as well as the target audience of 9 to 12 years. Well done Errol Longstride.
